Job summary

SpaceXAI in Southaven, Mississippi, is seeking a Fluids Engineer to rapidly design, build, and activate fluid systems for power plants and related infrastructure. You will work hands-on in the field alongside skilled technicians, coordinating with other engineering disciplines to ensure a complete system design.

The role requires strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid flow, and control theory, and the ability to troubleshoot system performance during commissioning and outages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• 1+ years of experience with fluid systems or process engineering required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to share technical concepts clearly with non-technical teammates.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and activate fluid systems for power generation plants including fuel gas, ammonia, water, and HVAC.
• Apply thermodynamics and fluid flow knowledge to design and analyze plant process fluids.
• Model piping assemblies using CAD and perform piping stress analysis.
• Read and develop piping & instrumentation diagrams of complex fluid systems.
• Select components (valves, pumps, piping, tanks, heat exchangers) with detailed specs.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, and controls engineers for complete system design.
