Job summary

Burkert USA Corporation is seeking an engineer to design and develop customized fluidic system solutions across core markets, including lab, medical devices, and semiconductor industries. You will own selected products through their lifecycle, ensure quality and performance, and contribute to production process improvements.

The role involves creating engineering documentation, supporting cross-functional teams, and assisting purchasing with vendor qualification.

Qualifications

BS in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Familiarity with regulated industries is a plus.
Experience with CAD and FEA tools preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and development of customized fluidic system solutions based on customer needs.
Technical ownership and lifecycle improvement of selected products.
Maintain and implement production processes and equipment for efficiency.
Provide engineering consultations to customers and cross-functional teams.
Create CAD drawings, BOMs, and assembly/testing/operating instructions.
Prepare cost calculations compliant with quality and regulatory requirements.
Supervise system integration partners and internal departments.
Assist in verification/validation of production and assembly processes.
Support Purchasing in evaluating third party vendors.
