Job summary

Rocket Lab USA in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Fluid Component Intern to support the design of second-generation devices and reliability improvements for future missions. You will work with the Components team on valves and actuators that manage fluid handling for the oxidizer-rich engine and launch vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor's, master's or doctorate degree program in aerospace, aeronautical, astronautical or mechanical engineering with at least one semester remaining post internship.
• GPA 3.0 or above
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or projects)

Responsibilities

• Work with mentor and team to apply engineering concepts
• Contribute to development projects and learn through hands-on tasks
• Attend regular 1:1s and progress updates
