SpaceX is seeking a Solar Cell Factory Fluids Engineer to design, build, and optimize fluid systems for delivering gases, chemicals, and exhaust in high-volume solar cell fabrication. You will own cradle-to-grave projects, develop scalable modular systems, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include P&ID work, equipment sizing, and performance tracking to improve yield.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 1+ years hands-on build or design experience (internships/club activity qualify).
• Experience with fluids systems in manufacturing or semiconductor-like environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety protocols for hazardous materials is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and activate fluid systems for gas and chemical delivery and exhausts.
• Own projects from requirements to commissioning and management.
• Design modular, scalable fluid systems for future facilities.
• Perform P&ID development, sizing, and detailed analysis.
• Conduct safety assessments (FMEA/HAZOP) for hazardous systems.
• Develop data acquisition/control for fluid facilities.
• Collaborate with process engineers to optimize throughput and purity.
• Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting with teams.
