Ideal candidates hold a BS in Chemistry/ChE/Mats Sci, have hands-on lubricant testing experience (foams, emulsions, viscosity, HFRR, MTM, EHL), and communicate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with lubricant formulation and testing such as foams, emulsion, viscosity, thermal, HFRR, MTM, and EHL.
• Familiarity with high-throughput experimentation techniques and automated systems.
• Knowledge of various research principles and testing methods.
• Familiarity with ASTM and ISO Standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with DOE and industry standards for lubricants is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and blend samples according to project requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Support the setup and execution of experiments to evaluate fluid properties.
• Utilize available tools and systems to ensure efficient workflows.
• Perform measurements of relevant physical and chemical characteristics.
• Analyze experimental data and summarize findings for project teams.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support development activities.
• Prepare documentation and share results with stakeholders as needed.
• Follow established safety guidelines and maintain a clean, compliant work environment.
