Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies, the world's largest fluid power distributor, seeks a Hydraulic/Pneumatic Specialist Trainee to grow into a Fluid Power Specialist by solving real-world issues and defining technical solutions for customers.

You will spend most of your time in virtual and in-person training, shadowing current Specialists, and supporting Account Managers to build relationships across your territory and contribute to growth of our business.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent technical experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop hydraulic & pneumatic knowledge through training and hands-on problem solving.
• Act as a technical consultant during observational customer visits.
• Support knowledge base development for applications and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to program refinement to improve future trainees.
