Job summary

JR Automation Technologies, LLC in Holland, MI invites an entry-level Fluid Power Assistant to join our on-site manufacturing team. You will assist in assembling hydraulic and pneumatic equipment to approved designs and customer specs, document changes, and communicate progress to project teams.

Candidates should show mechanical aptitude, safety focus, and the ability to work independently or with supervision.

Qualifications

Basic computer skills.
Proven mechanical aptitude with a focus on safety and quality.
Ability to accept direction and complete tasks.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to obtain Hi-Lo forklift, Aerial Platform and Overhead Crane licenses while employed.
Travel at least 20% of the time (domestic and international).
Must provide own hand tools and toolbox.

Responsibilities

Assist with assembly of equipment according to approved design and customer specifications.
Document changes, issues and progress and communicate them to the team.
Perform tasks with minimal direct supervision.
Assist with ISO/Quality standards execution.
Support cost, quality, timing, and customer-satisfaction goals on programs.
Maintain clean and organized work area.
Learn to troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic circuits; install piping and hoses; read blueprints; identify fittings.
