Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a design-focused engineer to own fluid power systems for our customers in Dallas. You will review specifications, create effective fluid power designs, and manage communications across the project life cycle.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, and at least three years’ experience with industrial equipment. Proficiency with MS Office and AutoCAD is preferred, with automation background a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or science-related field.
Three years’ experience with industrial equipment and fluid power design is a plus.
MS Office Suite proficiency; AutoCAD a plus; automation background a plus.

Responsibilities

Review customer specifications and prepare quotes, working with sales consultants.
Provide fluid power designs for existing and new equipment.
Maintain all quote logs, files, and communications.
Review and implement cost savings ideas as they relate to fluid power designs.
Oversee third-party quoting efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, and on time.
Maintain Key Operating Statistics and prepare reports for management.
