Job summary

Vulcan is seeking a Fluid End Assembler to read schematics, inspect fluid end parts, clean, deburr, verify dimensions, and assemble/test components. You will ensure parts meet quality standards and perform reliably in demanding applications.

Responsibilities include assembling per engineering specs, detailed inspections, documentation, troubleshooting with engineering/QC, tool maintenance, and safety compliance in a predominately indoor production facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training is a plus.
• Experience in mechanical assembly, especially with fluid end components, preferred.
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in assembly and testing.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fluid end components and assemblies per specifications and blueprints.
• Perform thorough inspections and tests on assemblies using precision instruments.
• Prepare and inspect parts, including cleaning and deburring.
• Document assembly and inspection results accurately in reports and checklists.
• Identify and address assembly issues, working with engineering and QC teams.
• Maintain and calibrate tools and equipment; follow PPE requirements.
• Participate in training and suggest process improvements to raise quality.
