Prolific is seeking fluent Russian speakers to help train AI models by engaging in live conversations on a flexible, task-based basis.

Participants join video calls, discuss everyday topics, and have their conversations used to teach models how real speech sounds. You can choose when to work, with no minimum hours, and you’ll be paid up to $18 per hour after completing a short language assessment.

We are looking for fluent Russian speakers to help train the next generation of AI models - through real conversation. You'll join live video calls with other Russian-speaking participants, chatting naturally about everyday topics while your conversation is used to help AI models better understand how people actually speak.

This is a genuinely interesting way to shape how AI understands human conversation, one call at a time - your natural way of speaking directly helps these models learn to communicate more like a real person.

This is a task based AI Training job that allows participants to choose their schedule and how much they work - there's no fixed schedule and no minimum hours requirement. Once you have joined the talent pool, you will be asked to complete a short assessment on your language skills. Passing this assessment also opens the door to similar paid projects in future. Researchers looking for these skills tend to pay up to $18/ hour

Tasks

• Video Conversations: Have live, natural conversations in Russian with other participants over video call.
• Natural Dialogue: Discuss everyday topics and let the conversation flow as it would with anyone else - no scripts, no performance.
• Data Contribution: Your conversations are recorded and used to help AI models learn natural speech patterns, tone, and cultural nuance.

Tasks are posted individually - you'll see task details, time estimate and pay before deciding whether to take one on.

What You’ll Bring

• Fluency in Russian: you must be a fully fluent Russian speaker.
• Communication: fluent English for instructions and reporting.
• A natural conversationalist: comfortable chatting easily and holding a flowing conversation over video call with someone new.
• Technical Setup: a quiet environment and good-quality headphones/microphone, essential for clear audio and accurate data collection.
• Soft Skills: friendly, easygoing, and comfortable talking with new people; backgrounds in teaching, interpreting, customer service, or linguistics are a plus.
