Responsibilities

• Maintain documentation and complete verification paperwork.
• Operate and monitor automated packaging equipment; ensure seals and labels are correct.
• Maintain clean work areas and follow PPE and safety protocols.
• Support QA team and communicate any machine- or material-related issues.

Job description

• Inspect incoming batches of cannabis flower and pre-roll material for moisture, texture, overall quality, and size
• Confirm bud size according to brand standards
• Weigh and package flower and/or pre-rolls
• Receive raw batch items and ensure appropriate storage
• Verify quality and quantity of raw batch items in kits
• Sort batch items and complete verification paperwork
• Count batches and case packs and complete required documentation
• Seal bags, jars, and tubes and inspect seals for quality
• Prepare and apply product labels manually or with applicator equipment
• Perform cleaning processes and complete verification paperwork according to cGMP and Trulieve standards
• Clean counters, floors, and work areas
• Monitor quality and quantity of produced and packaged items
• Operate and refill automated packaging and/or pre-roll equipment
• Notify leads of quality, machine-operation, and material challenges
• Perform other duties assigned by management

Requirements

• Work in close proximity to and with cannabis flower and particulates on a daily basis
• Controls and instrumentation experience
• Work in a fast-paced controlled environment
• Work with chemicals, oils, and sharp objects
• Able to work under minimum supervision
• Able to work under pressure
• Able to manage changes in working schedule
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must be able to pass background screening
• A High School Diploma
• 1-3 years of related experience preferred
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills
• Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
• Must be able to work seated/standing at workstations for extended periods and perform climbing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and frequent/constant hand movements
• Must be able to handle organic matter daily and wear appropriate PPE
• Must have visual acuity, with or without job aids, for reading, computer-terminal viewing, and detailed visual inspection
• Must be able to speak and communicate at conversational proficiency with co-workers and leadership
• Must be able to work in moderate noise
• Must be available to work 40+ hours weekly, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays

Demonstrates expertise in quality inspection and packaging processes within the cannabis industry, ensuring compliance with cGMP standards and effective communication with team members. Capable of operating packaging equipment and managing physical demands of the role while maintaining high-quality standards.
