Job summary

Caleres is seeking a Distribution Center professional to help manage Beumer sortation and optimize the flow of goods in the Tennessee facility.

The role requires DC experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well in teams or independently. You will monitor operations, resolve jams, and report workload status to leadership, with occasional cross-shift responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Distribution Center Experience 1+ years.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Organized, detail-oriented, able to handle multiple tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Mid-level PKMS/WMS understanding (Inventory, Shipping, Receiving).
• Able to work in a team environment and autonomously.
• Excellent attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of Beumer sortation system.
• Monitor flow of product to maximize productivity.
• Assist in wave end resolution and close-out across shifts.
• Monitor wave end pack out in Beumer, WCS, and WM.
• Communicate workload status to upper management.
• Fix jams on Beumer sorter platform and communicate issues.
• Monitor WCS lines for jams and coordinate fixes.
• Troubleshoot WCS, Beumer, and WM wave close-out issues.
