About the Opportunity:

As a Brush Seals Flow Line Tech, you will work in a flowline where parts move between multiple machines. In the role you will be setting up hydraulic presses, removing burrs created by the lathe process (sanding/grinding), setting up and running a CNC Lathe, cleaning/degreasing parts, and packing parts into containers for heat treatment. You will be on your feet much of the time and will have to be able to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently.

Location: Eastford, CT

This is a full-time role 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM Monday through Friday with occasional weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Deburr metal details using hand tools to remove burr from laser and blanking
• Setup and run hydraulic presses and CNC lathes
• Run degrease machines
• Hand clean parts using acetone and other degreasers
• Inspect own work using basic inspection equipment and quick-check gaging
• Use Kaizen to flow parts and drive down costs
• Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time according to Company policy
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Operate a CNC lathe to remove material

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Physical Requirements:

• Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
• Must be able to frequently stand and walk
• Must have basic hand tools.
