Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a Flow Line Tech in Eastford, CT. You will stay on your feet at a workstation, deburring parts moved between processes such as reaming and marking, and you will progress parts along the flow line from start to finish.

This full-time role runs 7:00 am to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends. You must be able to work under ITAR/EAR constraints and read work orders to perform tasks accurately.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Deburr metal parts using hand tools to remove burrs from cutting processes.
• Countersink and ream holes with presses and hand tools.
• Mark parts using electronic etch or dot peen.
• Inspect own work using basic inspection equipment and quick-check gauges.
• Utilize Kaizen to flow parts and reduce costs.
• Accurately complete paperwork related to counts, scrap, time per company policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

About The Opportunity

As a Flow Line Tech, you will work in a flowline where parts move from one process to another. In the role you will be removing the burr from parts that were lasered before moving to subsequent processes such as reaming, countersinking, and marking. You will be on your feet all day at a workstation, but you will be moving frequently.

Location: Eastford, CT

This is a full-time role 7:00 am to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday with occasional weekends.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Mustbe authorized towork in the U.S. on a full-time bases without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders whorequireemployer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations
• Must be able to read and understand work instructions within the work order

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong Mechanical skills
• Ability to be onyourfeet all day
• Ability to use air and electric tools to remove metal
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Understanding and reading basic blueprint skill is a plus
• Self-starter/motivated team player

Physical Requirements

• Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
• Must be able tofrequentlystand and walk
• Musthavethe ability to usebasic hand tools.
