Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a Flow Line Technician in Eastford, CT to contribute in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will deburr, countersink, ream, mark, assemble, bend, blank and form parts, and inspect your own work using basic inspection tools. Kaizen methods will help drive down costs while maintaining quality and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
• Must be able to work under ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deburr, countersink, and ream parts.
• Mark, assemble and inspect own work.
• Bend, blank, and form components.
• Use basic inspection equipment and quick-check gaging.
• Apply Kaizen to flow parts and reduce costs.
• Complete paperwork accurately for counts, scrap, and time.

Location: Eastford, CT

This is a full-time role 3:30 PM to Midnight Monday through Friday with occasional weekends.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time bases without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Able to stay on task during required hours
• Must be self‑motivated and dependable
• Enthusiasm to learn about and participate in Kaizen and single piece flow
• Must be able to read and work from work order instructions

Working Conditions:

• Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
• Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
• Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to travel between locations or to suppliers up to 25% of time.
