Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Flow Inventory Associate to help maintain an accurate vehicle inventory and enhance the customer experience. You will handle receiving and shipping, lot maintenance, merchandising, and photo uploads to ensure every car meets CarMax quality standards.

Responsibilities include processing shipments, preparing title packets, maintaining clean display areas, and prepping vehicles for returns.

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license and ability to meet CarMax driving standards.
• Ability to read, interpret, and accurately transcribe data for inventory records.
• Completion of Inventory Associate workstation certifications and assigned trainings.

Required Qualifications

Hourly Rate

$18.50 - $25.80

Benefits

CarMax Associates are entitled to paid sick, vacation, and holiday time. Qualified full‑time associates earn up to 48 hours of sick time per year and 80–200 hours of vacation time after a 90‑day waiting period, depending on years of continuous service. All associates receive 6 paid scheduled holidays per year plus a floating holiday. Full‑time salaried associates have paid time away with no specified limit, subject to manager approval.
