Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Flow Cytometry Technologist to join our Seattle, WA team. Work Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with rotating Saturdays. You will perform routine and complex procedures, monitor instrumentation, and report accurate test results to support high-quality patient care.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science and ASCP or AMT certification with at least 1 year of hematology experience. Flow cytometry experience is preferred.

LabCorp is seeking a Flow Cytometry Technologist to join our team in Seattle, WA Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM with rotating Saturdays

Job Responsibilities:

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality
• Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.
• Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls
• Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care
• Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures
• Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary
• Assist with processing of specimens when needed
• Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Medical Technology ASCP or AMT certification
• 1 year or more of recent Hematology experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year or more of recent Flow Cytometry experience

**Pay Range: $34.25 -$52.14 per hour All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience and the terms of the collective bargaining agreement between Dynacare Northwest, Inc. and United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local 21.
