Job summary

CSI Laboratories, a Fulgent Genetics company, is seeking a Flow Cytometry Technician to perform data acquisition and analysis for leukemia/lymphoma and PNH testing, with emphasis on QC/QA, instrument maintenance, and troubleshooting.

You will identify, lyse, and stain samples, manage cytometers and LIS-based reports, assist in SOP development, and participate in proficiency testing and safety procedures while adhering to strict clinical laboratory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in laboratory science or related field required.
• 0-2 years flow cytometry experience preferred but not required.
• Certification as a medical laboratory technologist or clinical scientist with a recognized agency (ASCP, NCA, HEW, etc).
• Continuing education hours required for licensure or certification maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and stain samples for flow cytometry testing.
• Identify and process samples with sterile technique as required.
• Operate and maintain cytometers; perform daily QC/QA and troubleshooting.
• Assist in validation projects and SOP development, updates as needed.
• Manage specimen handling, requisitions, and reporting in LIS.
• Participate in proficiency testing and adhere to safety policies.
