Qualifications

• Must have NYS license/registration or limited permit to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
• Two years of clinical lab experience required.
• BS degree in Natural Sciences may qualify for commensurate title; restricted license training in Flow Cytometry may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized flow cytometry testing including lymphocyte subset analysis, stem cell analysis, and immunophenotyping.
• Conduct instrument maintenance, calibration, and quality control procedures to ensure accurate test results and compliance with laboratory standards.
• Participate in development, validation, and implementation of new tests and methodologies.
• Collaborate with pathologists, laboratory professionals, and clinical teams to ensure high-quality patient care and operations.
• Serve as educator and mentor for students and residents, providing hands-on instruction in flow cytometry and lab practices.
