Shift: Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00pm-4:30am. The role emphasizes quality control, accurate record keeping, and timely reporting, with a focus on ensuring compliance with SOPs and proficiency testing requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences with at least 1 year of lab experience/training.
• 1+ years equivalent experience in high complexity testing preferred.
• ASCP certification nationally, or state licensure where applicable (FL, CA, TN)

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical laboratory tests proficiently under general supervision.
• Follows SOPs for specimen handling, testing, and record keeping.
• Maintains records to ensure proficiency testing samples are tested like patient specimens.
• Determines specimen acceptability and prepares samples for testing.
• Analyzes specimens using approved procedures and reports results.
