Job summary

Waters is seeking an Applications Scientist I in San Diego to support development of flow cytometry assays, work with senior scientists, generate data and write controlled documents. You will interact with customer accounts evaluating opportunities and supporting production activities.

The role requires Master’s in Immunology or related field, experience with flow cytometry and antibody conjugate panels, and knowledge of GMP/ISO13485. On-site collaboration is expected in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Masters level qualification in Immunology or related field.
• Experience with flow cytometry in a regulated lab environment.
• Experience designing/assessing antibody conjugate panels and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and troubleshoot customer-designed flow cytometry panels.
• Perform experiments, review data, and prepare reports per GDP standards.
• Write and review controlled documents, SOPs, and design history files (ISO13485/GMP).
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, QA and Instrumentation to support production and customer needs.
