Job summary

Target is seeking a Senior Operations Manager for the Flow Center in Logan, NJ. You will lead safety initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and partner with key stakeholders to deliver results on productivity and quality.

Responsibilities include on‑the‑floor leadership, staffing the team, and communicating the big picture with clarity while maintaining a culture of inclusion and accountability. This role requires flexibility for varied hours and holidays.

Qualifications

• Four year degree or 3–5 years in manufacturing, production, or distribution with supervisory experience.
• Experience with performance metrics and process improvement.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to motivate others and manage conflicts effectively.
• Experience with staffing lifecycle: interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions, termination.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety, continuous improvement, and strategic planning across the DC floor.
• Coach and develop operational leaders; set priorities and allocate resources.
• Walk the floor daily to observe operations and engage team members.
• Foster inclusion and belonging; communicate big picture and expectations.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and cross-functional collaboration.
