Diversified Foods & Seasonings (DFS) is hiring a Flour Production Associate - Machine Operator in Theodore, AL. The 1st shift role focuses on operating packaging machinery for poultry batter and biscuit chubs, with attention to food safety and quality.

Pay is $16/hour and includes benefits and growth opportunities. The operator will work with blenders, packers, QA, and supervisors to ensure efficient production and compliance with HACCP and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Basic math and intermediate reading skills required.
• Ability to follow production instructions and complete documentation.
• Previous packaging machinery experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety requirements.
• Ability to distinguish colors and perform physical production duties.
• Must stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prepare equipment for production runs, including film, printer ribbons, chub print, and check weighers.
• Enter production information and verify dates, batch numbers, labels, barcodes, and product weights for accuracy.
• Complete required allergen, labeling, and traceability checks.
• Perform routine equipment adjustments and basic troubleshooting to support production flow.
• Communicate with Blenders, Packers, QA, and supervisors to keep production running smoothly.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area and follow GMP, HACCP, food safety, and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
