Job summary

Bartlett in Wilson Mills, NC is hiring a Flour Mill Bulk Trailer Loader to join our operations team on 2nd shift. The role involves loading tanker trailers with bulk flour, moving trailers, ensuring sanitation, hooking hoses, operating the scale, and completing paperwork.

You may also assist in the wash bay. This position emphasizes food safety, safety-consciousness, and reliability, with overtime possible as workload requires.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Class A CDL preferred (will earn higher pay) but not required
• At least 6 months of tractor trailer driving experience
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
• Available to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed
• Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
• Able to pass a criminal background check

The Basics

Location: Wilson Mills, NC

Compensation: $19.50/hr, up to $22/hr with a class A CDL and/or tractor trailer experience

Days/Hours: The primary schedule will be Monday to Friday, 2ndshift, usually 3:30pm to midnight, with some overtime as the workload requires.

Equipment Used: Pumps and hoses, tractors and trailers

Material Handled: Bulk flour

What you'll be doing:

The primary duty of this job will be loading tanker trailers with bulk flour. This will include moving trailers, assuring trailers are sanitary and dry, hooking and unhooking hoses, operating the scale, completing all necessary paperwork, sealing all hatches, hoses and transfer point and performing regular cleaning and maintenance on the equipment used. You may also be asked to assist in the wash bay. You are responsible for food safety.
