POSITION TITLE: Floral DesignerDEPARTMENT Floral / ProduceREPORTS TO: Produce ManagerFLSA STATUS: Non-ExemptJOB DESCRIPTIONResponsible for ensuring that the floral department of the store is well-stocked, clean, and properly displayed. Making in-house arrangements and bouquets, while ensuring outstanding customer services for our guests.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Receiving and unpacking fresh flower shipmentsCreating attractive bouquets and arrangementsRestocking floral displays and ensuring all products are well presented and fresh.Assisting guests with any questions about flower care and or any of their floral needs.Maintaining high quality, freshness and inventory managementQUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of floral care, arrangement techniques, basic retail operations, strong customer service abilities. Attention to detail, creativity, and effective communication. Familiarity with commercial floral tools, such as stem cutters are often required. These will all help with attaining high-quality displays, ensure efficient operations and provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
