The ideal candidate will plan developmentally appropriate lessons, monitor progress, collaborate with families, and ensure compliance with licensing and safety guidelines. Employment is contingent on a Level 2 background screening.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing Florida VPK standards.
• Ability to plan engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons.
• Support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming classroom and supervise children at all times.
• Ensure licensing, safety protocols, and VPK compliance.
• Conduct regular assessments and document attendance as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with Florida VPK standards.
• Nurture and support each child’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Create a safe, positive, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Ensure children are actively supervised at all times.
• Ensure strict compliance with facility licensing, safety protocols, and VPK requirements.
• Conduct regular child assessments and maintain documentation (attendance) per VPK guidelines.
• Establish open communication with parents and guardians.
