Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transportation Business Group Manager to lead our 300+ Florida team located in North Florida, Central Florida, and Southwest Florida.

The role directs operations for the Florida transportation group, drives staff development, project delivery, profitability, workload, morale and quality control, and supports marketing activities to win new work; the person will serve as a project principal and coordinate services across HDR's lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in transportation engineering leadership.
• Proven ability to lead diverse multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct operations for the Florida transportation group, including staff development and project delivery.
• Drive profitability, workload management, quality control, and marketing support.
• Act as project principal and coordinate services across HDR’s service lines.
• Develop and implement strategies to grow the business and diversify the client base.
• Collaborate with regional and national leaders to win new projects.
