Jacobs in Florida is seeking a Program Manager, Deputy Director for the Residential Construction Department to lead planning and delivery of large-scale residential development and housing revitalization programs across Florida, ensuring safety, sustainability, and community impact.

You will coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams through planning, design, construction, turnover and closeout, managing budgets, schedules, and governance while advancing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field required or closely related industry experience.
• 20+ years of experience in residential construction, community planning, infrastructure development, and construction management.
• Proven experience as Owner's Representative, Residential Contractor, Developer, or similar leadership from planning through turnover.
• Experience managing large-scale residential development and housing programs with budgets and timelines.

Responsabilités

• Lead planning, development, and delivery of residential construction and housing programs in Florida.
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, cost estimating, and annual capital planning efforts.
• Oversee rehabilitation, demolition, and development of single-family and multi-family housing.
• Manage architects, engineers, planners, and consultants through procurement, design, and construction.
• Ensure project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk align with goals and governance.
• Assist with contractor selection, procurement strategies, and contract negotiations.
• Direct construction activities through turnover, occupancy, and closeout.
• Monitor progress and report on performance, budget changes, and risks to executives.
• Develop and maintain program management plans, workflows, and guidance documents.
