Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Program Manager-Deputy Director to lead the Construction Management Department (CMD) programs across Florida, including healthcare, education, administration, recreation, and other facilities.

You will oversee the full lifecycle from planning and budgeting through design, construction, commissioning, and closeout, coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and Jacobs experts to deliver programs on time, on budget, and with quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 25+ years of facilities design and CIP management experience.
• Experience leading large-scale vertical building programs including healthcare or education.
• Experience in Owner's Representative, Program Management, or Contractor leadership roles.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, procurement activities, consultant teams, and contracts.
• Experience supporting executive-level decision-making, financial planning, and governance.
• Certification from CMAA, AACE, or PMI; CMAA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital improvement programs for community facilities in Florida.
• Oversee budgeting, cost estimating, prioritization, and procurement coordination.
• Manage architectural and engineering firms through procurement, contract negotiation, design development, permitting, and construction documentation.
• Ensure program scope, schedule, budget, and quality compliance.
• Assist with procurement strategies and contractor selection.
• Direct construction management through commissioning and closeout.
• Provide executive reporting on project performance, risks, and change management.
• Develop and maintain program management plans, processes, workflows, and guidance.
