Job summary

Impact Fire Services is seeking a Regional Manager to drive Florida operations within the southeast region. You will lead multi-location fire protection teams and push profitable growth while maintaining safety and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in fire protection with a strong track record in managing multiple districts, strategic planning and talent development. This role requires extensive travel and a results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of fire protection industry experience with 5+ years in a supervisory/management role over multi-state operations.
  • A four-year college degree in construction management, engineering or business administration is preferred.
  • Experience driving business growth and efficiencies within Fire Life Safety.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, build teams, motivate and retain top talent.

Responsibilities

  • Manage district operations across Florida, including Central and coastal regions.
  • Drive financial, operational and customer satisfaction goals set by senior leadership.
  • Lead, support and collaborate with each District to achieve performance targets.
  • Retain and motivate district teams while fostering a safe work environment.
  • Drive regional growth through new business and acquisitions and oversee integrations.
  • Manage P&L statements for all districts within the region and report on status.
  • Facilitate regular district meetings to coordinate work and monitor finances.
  • Travel 50%+ to oversee multi-location activities and ensure alignment with strategic goals.

OBJECTIVES:

The Regional Manager will drive operational performance for the Florida operations within the southeastern Region to include building top performing district teams, driving business growth and meeting & exceeding customer and financial performance goals.

NATURE OF POSITION:

This is a Senior Operations Leadership position reporting into our Regional Vice President. This role will lead all aspects of Fire Life Safety business for the Florida operations. We are searching for a candidate that can drive profitable growth, motivate teams, and exceed financial goals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage the district operations throughout the east and west coast of Florida, including Central Florida.

  • Strive to achieve financial, operational and customer satisfaction goals established by our Senior Leaders.

  • Lead, support and work alongside each District to achieve performance goals.

  • Retain and motivate district teams.

  • Drive the Region’s growth through new business and acquisitions.

  • Manage acquisition growth and integrations.

  • Manage Profit & Loss (P&L) statements for all Districts within the region.

  • Facilitate regular District meetings for coordination of work and financial status monitoring

  • Closely manage revenue and cost control; work to correct any company-wide budgetary deficiencies

  • Foster, model and enforce a safe work environment

  • The preferred candidate will reside in the Southwest Coast of Florida, in close proximity to Tampa.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • 10+ years’ fire protection, fire life safety industry experience with 5+ years in a supervisory or management role overseeing multi-state/multi-location operations.

  • A four-year college degree in construction management, engineering or business administration is preferred

  • Demonstrated success in managing multi-location management experience within the Fire Life Safety, Fire Protection industry.

  • Experience driving business growth and efficiencies.

  • Ability to travel 50%+.

  • Managing Profit & Loss (P&L) statements for multiple districts, locations.

  • Ability to recruit, build teams, motivate, and retain top talent.

  • Possess well-developed interviewing and hiring skills.

  • Experience driving acquisitions and managing integrations.

  • Demonstrated analytical skills and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to travel throughout the region, including overnight lodging

  • Must possess a passion for team safety and the ability to balance operations with safe work prioritization

  • Must possess a strong work ethic and the ability to drive business growth.

  • Must possess strong leadership skills and the ability to develop employees

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.

  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service.

  • Ability to work within a team environment.

  • Self-starter that can work with little to no supervision.

  • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.

  • Ability to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines and procedures.

Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
