Job summary

Walsh Group is seeking a Project Engineer for the Florida Region. This role focuses on coordinating daily project activity, procurement, quality control, safety management, and proper documentation to ensure on-schedule delivery and budget adherence.

The candidate will support the project team with coordination of subcontractors, surveying, layout, and weekly progress photos, while handling RFIs, submittals, change orders and claims.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in construction or project coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous internship, co-op, or employment experience is a plus.
• Some roles may require relocation.

Responsibilities

• Document control including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and claims.
• Support daily project coordination with the project team.
• Procure construction materials.
• Perform Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks.
• Coordinate subcontractors.
• Survey and layout of project.
• Take weekly progress photos for reports.
• Manage construction equipment.
• Oversee safety management.
• Assist with project estimating.
