Morgan & Morgan, the nation’s largest injury firm, is launching a probate and estate administration practice in Florida. We seek an experienced probate attorney to lay the foundation for a scalable, multi-office team.

The role offers the chance to build and lead a new practice with entrepreneurial potential. Based in Florida, the attorney will handle intestate estates, guide families, and work with paralegals to manage filings and strategy.

Qualifications

Florida Bar member with probate experience is required.
Deep knowledge of Florida Probate Code, courts, timelines, and judges.
Candidates should be process‑driven, highly organized, and able to manage high-volume dockets.
Entrepreneurial mindset to help shape a new practice area.
Excellent communication skills with families and internal stakeholders.
Experience handling contested probate matters is preferred.
Sole practitioners or small firms are welcome, with per-case fee structures.

Responsabilités

Open and administer intestate estates in Florida probate court.
Prepare and file petitions, inventories, notices to creditors, and final accounts.
Serve as primary contact for families, guiding them through the process with clarity and compassion.
Coordinate with paralegals and internal team for efficient handling.
Manage a high-volume docket from initiation to estate funding and closure.
Handle uncontested and contested matters, seeking contingency support when needed.
Help establish scalable probate processes for the firm.
