Job summary

Conti-Electric, Fort Lauderdale-based, seeks an experienced ITS Superintendent to lead ITS construction, maintenance, and operations on FDOT roadway projects across Florida. You will manage field personnel, subcontractors, project schedules, safety, quality, and coordination with FDOT engineers and stakeholders.

You will oversee installation, integration, testing, diagnostics, and ongoing maintenance of advanced transportation technologies within budget and schedule, ensuring FDOT specifications

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of ITS/traffic signal or related infrastructure experience.
Supervisory/foreman or superintendent experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of FDOT ITS systems, standards, and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

Manage ITS field crews, technicians, subcontractors, and vendors.
Plan and oversee day-to-day ITS construction and maintenance on FDOT projects.
Ensure compliance with FDOT standards, specifications, and safety rules.
Coordinate project schedules, manpower, equipment, materials, and logistics.
Lead installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ITS infrastructure.
