Job summary

Tiara Yachts is a premier boat manufacturer seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to repair and service boats in the field and at production facilities across Southern Florida. This role requires extensive travel and strong fiberglass, mechanical, and electrical skills, plus excellent communication with customers and dealers.

As part of our team you will maintain equipment, manage travel expenses, and deliver high-quality service with safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must operate the field service vehicle and travel extensively by air.
• Thorough knowledge of boat repair including fiberglass, mechanical and electrical skills.
• Strong written and oral communication with customers, dealers and Tiara Yachts employees.

Responsibilities

• Repair boats in the field or at production facilities as directed.
• Act as liaison between company and dealer/customer.
• Care for equipment and maintain service vehicle; report deficiencies and oversee repairs.
• Control travel expenses and promote a team approach to problem solving.
• Conduct trainings with dealers’ service personnel.

Position Summary

Responsible for repairing and servicing boats in the field and at production facilities.

Job Responsibilities

• Repair boats in the field or at production facilities as directed
• Act as liaison between company and dealer/customer
• Properly care for company equipment, ensuring the field service vehicle and all field service equipment is well maintained; report all deficiencies in equipment and oversee their repair as directed
• Control travel expenses
• Keep a positive and professional attitude when working under adverse and difficult situations
• Report on the cost of repairs and other projects
• Work with other staff to promote a team approach to problem solving
• Conduct training sessions with dealers’ service personnel
• Operate, navigate and handle Tiara Yachts in a safe and competent manner
• Other duties as directed by the Sr. Manager of Dealer & Service Support

QualificationsEducation & Job Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Must be capable of operating the field service vehicle, have a current operator’s license, and travel extensively on airlines
• Must have a thorough knowledge of all phases of boat repair, including fiberglass, mechanical and electrical skills
• Must be able to communicate well in written and oral communications with customers, dealers and Tiara Yachts employees.
• Must present and conduct oneself on a professional level with a positive attitude

• Willingness to work on a team or individually
• Able to follow manufacturing instructions and understand processes
• Must practice PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) policies as mandated per area (safety glasses/goggles, hearing protection, etc.)
• Must follow company safety guidelines
• Must be fluent in the English language; bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
