Job summary

Safe Site LLC in Florida is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead our field operations. You will oversee utility locating, SUE, mapping, and Hydrovac teams, ensuring safety, quality, and on‑time project delivery across the Florida market.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in field operations with supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and a track record of improving performance. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring field presence and customer collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in utility locating, SUE, hydro‑excavation, or related fields.
• Experience supervising field personnel and managing multiple projects.
• Familiarity with ASCE 38 quality levels preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct operational oversight and leadership for Florida field personnel across utility locating, SUE, mapping, and Hydrovac operations.
• Coordinate with scheduling, project management, and regional leadership to ensure appropriate staffing.
• Manage daily/weekly workloads based on priorities, geography, equipment, and deadlines.
• Monitor field productivity, utilization, project progress, and operational efficiency.
• Identify scheduling conflicts, resource constraints, project risks, and develop solutions.
• Maintain awareness of field assets and readiness; provide field support to meet customer commitments.
