CompHealth is seeking a surgical pathologist for a high-volume hospital assignment in Bradenton, Florida. You will perform general surgical pathology duties including frozen sections, sentinel nodes, and lung specimens, handling approximately 3,100 surgical cases per year and about 200 cytology cases.

The assignment offers weekly pay, complimentary housing and travel, comprehensive malpractice coverage, and streamlined credentialing.

• General surgical pathology skills required.
• Hospital privileges required.

Responsabilités

• Perform general surgical pathology duties; high-volume case load with frozen sections, sentinel nodes, and lungs.
• Cytology cases ~200 per year and peripheral smears as applicable.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and participate in credentialing/privileging processes.

Description du poste

• Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
• Surgical volumes -- approx. 3,100 per year; cytology 200 per year
• 9 - 10 procedures per week -- frozen sections, sentinel nodes, lungs
• Ortho PMN counts, skin, brain procedures included
• Peripheral smears -- less than 1 per week
• High case load facility
• General surgical pathology skills required
• Hospital privileges required
