Job summary

The candidate will work with the PathGroup digital sign out EMR, handle varied specimens including GI, GYN, breast, GU, liver, and skin, and engage in cancer resections. Housing, travel, and malpractice coverage are arranged.

Responsibilities

• Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm with weeknight call
• 60 - 90 cases per day split among 3 - 4 pathologists
• Specialists available to review challenging peripheral smear cases
• EMR: PathGroup digital sign out system
• Biopsies required -- GI, GYN, breast, GU, liver, and skin
• Cancer resections required -- breast, GYN oncology, colon, and more
• Non-gyn cytology and peripheral blood smear review required
• Hospital privileges required
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
• We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
• We simplify the credentialing and privileging process
• Access to online portal for assignment details and time entry
