Job summary

VHB is recruiting a Director of Landscape Architecture – Florida to lead our growing Florida team across Gulf Coast and Orlando. The role offers oversight of multi-office projects, mentorship of staff, and strategic growth in public and private sectors.

You will drive market expansion, manage complex design projects from concept through construction, and collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality landscape architecture solutions across the Florida region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Landscape Architecture required.
• Florida Landscape Architect license or eligibility.
• LEED/SITES/ENV SP or similar certification preferred.
• Experience managing staff across multiple offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing landscape architecture team in Gulf Coast and Orlando.
• Drive market growth and identify opportunities leveraging shared resources.
• Generate new business opportunities and lead pursuits across Florida markets.
• Oversee complex landscape architecture projects from planning to construction.
• Manage budgets and monitor profitability and schedule adherence.
• Collaborate with leaders to align with VHB’s strategic plan.
