Jobot is seeking a Construction Litigation Attorney in Florida to guide and lead litigation from pre-suit through trial. You will work on construction defect and business litigation, coordinating with experts and clients to control risk and cost.

The role requires a Florida Bar membership and a JD from an accredited law school, with board certification preferred if extensive experience is not present. You will join a boutique, dynamic practice with practical guidance and advocacy.

Qualifications

• Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Board certification preferred, unless extensive experience exists.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction defect litigation and construction business litigation from pre-suit through trial.
• Litigate disputes involving owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and design professionals.
• Handle contract disputes, commercial torts, and other complex civil claims.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs; take and defend depositions; prepare discovery strategies.
• Evaluate exposure, develop case strategy, and advise clients on risk and budgets.
• Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations; support trial prep and trial as needed.
• Collaborate with teammates and staff to stay organized and client-ready.
