Job summary

Melbourne, FL or St. Petersburg, FL-based Associate Underwriter is needed to support the underwriting team with account maintenance and learning underwriting tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Insurance or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Underwriting Team in account maintenance.
• Order, analyze, and interpret inspections on accounts.
• Quote, enter and bind Renewal accounts with New Business as tasked.
• Maintain workflow and communication across departments.
• Attend workshops to maintain underwriting knowledge.
• Travel as deemed necessary by Manager to agencies and companies.
• Other duties as assigned.
