Job summary

Delaware Valley Floral Group in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and staging floral orders for shipment. The role requires handling products in a refrigerated environment and maintaining accuracy and safety standards.

You will read product labels and documentation, move freight, and ensure timely order fulfillment in a fast-paced distribution setting.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse, distribution, or order fulfillment experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Able to read product labels, order tickets, and shipping documentation.
• Strong work ethic and reliability; able to work independently or in a team.
• Willingness to learn equipment and warehouse processes on the job.
• Positive and respectful attitude in a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming product and replenish warehouse inventory to support order fulfillment.
• Pick customer orders using RF scanners or paper pick tickets with a high level of accuracy.
• Pack floral orders carefully to ensure product quality and readiness for shipment.
• Select cases of flowers in a refrigerated box pick cooler using warehouse equipment (training provided).
• Stage completed orders by stacking boxes, shrink wrapping, and preparing pallets for outbound shipping.
• Move and handle freight safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
• Read and verify product labels, tickets, and documentation to ensure order accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while meeting productivity expectations.
