Job summary

ShopRite of Manahawkin seeks a Floral Clerk to ensure quality customer service in the floral department. You will price, stock, and rotate merchandise, keep displays attractive, and assist customers with balloons, wrapping, and pricing.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak English effectively.
• Perform basic math accurately.
• Stand/walk for entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Interact with customers in a friendly manner and work with others.

Responsibilities

• Price, stock, rotate merchandise and keep the department neat and appealing.
• Assist customers with balloons, wrapping, and pricing merchandise.
• Follow procedures for receiving, dating, storing, and labeling products.
• Maintain sanitation and QA standards and ensure safe operation of equipment.
• Assist with display of flowers and related merchandise and handle damaged items.
