Job summary

ShopRite of Glassboro in Glassboro, NJ is hiring a Floral Clerk to price, stock, and rotate merchandise in the Floral Department and maintain a neat, inviting display. You will assist customers, prepare balloons, wrap items, and ensure product quality and proper dating while following safety and QA standards.

Responsibilities include stocking, sanitation, operating department equipment, and supporting the team to deliver friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Basic math skills for pricing and stocking.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation and QA standards in the Floral Department.
• Greet customers and assist with pricing, balloon filling, wrapping, and display setup.
• Receive, code date, store, and price merchandise to ensure quality and rotation.
• Differentiate between flower types and advise customers on care.
• Keep display cases stocked and attractive.
• Unload trucks and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Follow safety, health, and company policies.
