Job summary

Harmons Grocery in West Valley City seeks a Floral Distribution Center associate to ensure the quality, freshness and assortment of fresh flowers for floral deliveries. You will process deliveries from growers, verify invoices, break down loads and pull flowers for special orders, including weddings and funerals.

Responsibilities

• Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
• Ensures the quality and freshness of all floral products delivered to the Floral Design Center
• Working with the Design Center Coordinator, responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the Distribution Center
• Breaks down and organizes new deliveries
• Pulls floral orders to be sent to stores
• Pulls flowers for special orders; weddings, funerals, etc.
• Assists with inventory and ordering
• Works with vendors and growers to order fresh cut flowers for the Distribution Center
• Verifies orders and invoices with the Design Center Coordinator and performs quality audits
• Delivers excellent customer service to all customers
• Completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
• Sets a professional and positive example to others
• Assists as needed to ensure the success of the Distribution Center as a whole

$15.00 - $18.78 PER HOUR

GENERAL PURPOSE

The purpose of this position is to ensure the quality, freshness and product assortment of fresh flowers is maintained for all fresh floral deliveries made to the Floral Design Center. This person will be processing floral deliveries from growers, ensuring quality, checking loads against invoices, breaking down and organizing loads and pulling flowers for special arrangements.
