Job summary

Yoke's Fresh Markets is seeking a part-time Floral Sales associate to create a welcoming floral shopping experience and provide professional service. You will greet guests, discuss promotions, help locate items, and explain care for plants and arrangements.

Responsibilities include maintaining displays, operating tools safely, and supporting teammates. A floral background is preferred, with standard certifications required for safety and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; floral background preferred.
• Valid State Food Handler Permit is required; valid Driver's License or State ID is required.
• Meets state minimum to operate equipment (baler, trash compactor).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and promote floral department features, products and promotions.
• Assist guests in locating items, discuss care and usage of floral products and services.
• Cultivate and care for ornamental plants, build and install displays indoors and outdoors; perform routine plant maintenance.
• Operate floral department tools and equipment safely and correctly as trained.
• Mentor new associates and support a positive learning environment.
