Job summary

McKeever Price Chopper is seeking a friendly Floral Designer to craft beautiful arrangements, maintain eye-catching displays, and assist customers with orders. You’ll work with fresh flowers, learn design techniques, and support the department’s promotions and events.

This role offers on-site work at our Lenexa store, with opportunities to grow in floral design and customer service within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in floral design, event decoration, or plant care.
• Strong attention to color, balance, and trends.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and build floral arrangements for holidays, special occasions, and everyday purchases.
• Maintain fresh floral displays that are neat, well-stocked, and eye-catching.
• Care for fresh flowers and plants, ensuring product rotation and freshness.
• Assist customers with custom orders, delivery options, and floral suggestions.
• Maintain a clean and organized floral department, including tools and workstations.
• Process invoices, pricing, and merchandising of floral products.
• Participate in store promotions, seasonal displays, and special events.
• Communicate with vendors and follow store ordering protocols.
