The candidate will work under the Store Manager and support customer service and sales with design expertise. Qualifications include hands-on floral design in a high-volume environment, strong teamwork, and excellent interpersonal skills.

For more than 95 years, Studley's has been the florist of choice in Rochester, NH. Our company is a fast paced, high volume florist, delivering within a 20 mile radius of Rochester. We offer hand created floral beauty for every occasion. Our garden center and greenhouses facilities offer locally grown plants for indoor and outdoor spaces. Studley's delivers personalized service and expert knowledge for gardeners and home owners.

We have an immediate opportunity for floral designer/sales with recent experience in a retail florist. This position reports to the Store Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

Consistently create floral designs incorporating effective and innovative use of colors, floral materials, vessels and accent materials, while meeting established criteria for Studley's design styles and cost of goods. Develop a working understanding of the basic Studley's style of design and accurately create custom designs based on established standards. Apply proper flower fundamental handling techniques. Meet and consistently maintain required standards of production. Successfully interpret clients' wishes on custom design orders and following up as applicable to ensure complete satisfaction. Responsible for providing outstanding customer service and contributing to sales volume growth, and resolving customer questions and concerns. Contribute to the consistent maintenance and refreshment of product merchandising. Utilize a variety of computer programs

Candidate Profile:

• hands-on custom floral design experience in a high-volume floral shop or design studio is preferred. We offer an opportunity to train the right candidate with less experience

Other:

• Full-time or part-time position; 30 to 40 hours, work days include Monday through Saturday, with flexibility required, Saturday availability is also required.
• Peak business periods will require extended work days and work weeks
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
