Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a Floral Department Manager to lead a busy floral team in a full-time role. You will ensure excellent customer service, accurate order processing, and timely production of floral products.

The job requires maintaining clean, attractive displays and adhering to product dating and sanitation standards. You’ll develop seasonal merchandising plans, manage inventory, and collaborate with other departments to meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years management experience in a retail/ supermarkets environment.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business-related or food service-related field desirable.

Responsibilities

• Promotes excellent customer relations by instilling positive customer-focused behavior with associates.
• Takes customer orders over the phone or in person and creates the finished product in a timely fashion.
• Keeps the department fresh, clean, and appealing, follows dating rules and sanitation procedures.
• Builds displays and plans merchandising to drive sales and monitor competitor activity.
• Manages department inventory and coordinates orders to meet profit goals and seasonal needs.
• Schedules floral associates and participates in training and performance reviews.
