Royer’s flowers & gifts in Carlisle, PA is seeking a Floral Consultant to join our sales team. The role involves daily customer contact in-store and over the phone, assisting with floral and gift selections, and entering orders into the computer.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent personal hygiene habits.
• Able to speak clearly with good tone and volume, especially on the telephone.
• Must have neat and legible handwriting.
• Must have basic math skills to calculate prices and discounts.
• Must be able to read and understand policies and apply them.
• Able to type at least 15 wpm.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• 1 yr. related experience with silk/dried and giftware preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily contact with customers in the shop and on the telephone.
• Questioning and suggesting appropriate floral/gift products during customer interactions.
• Entering flower orders and purchases into the computer.
• Wrapping and packaging floral products for customers.
• Housekeeping - keeping shelves clean, dusting, sweeping floors, and cleaning areas when required.
• Preparing displays with cleaning, trimming, foiling and pricing as needed.
• Assisting with display set-up and floral presentations.
