Job summary

Kroger in Tigard, OR is seeking a customer-focused team member to assist with floral design and merchandising, greet customers, and process orders. You will help fill customer requests, package items, and maintain clean, well-organized departments.

Responsibilities include operating the cash register, handling calls, and supporting weekend/holiday coverage while following company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials, and bulletins.
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities, present information professionally, and work with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist and greet customers promptly and provide great service.
• Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
• Help design and create floral arrangements and/or other items to fill customer orders.
• Package orders effectively, safely and efficiently.
• Maintain customer records and files properly.
• Assist customers in location and selecting items.
• Handle telephone calls and orders promptly and courteously.
• Maintain flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
